Sunset and Full Moon Climb

 

📅 Friday, August 28

⏰ 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.

📍 Cape St. George Light, Lighthouse Park, St. George Island

📞 Tickets available at the Lighthouse Gift Shop starting at 7:30 p.m.

 

🌕 Climb the lighthouse under the August full moon (the Sturgeon Moon). Sunset is at 8:06 p.m. and moonrise at 8:26 p.m. Climbs are 15 minutes, first-come, first-served, with 12 climbers per time slot. Cost is $10 per climber ($7 for SGLA members). Cash or credit accepted. Climbers must be at least 40 inches tall; only ages 13+ may go out on the exterior catwalk. Weather permitting.
