Labor Day week has a way of making the coast feel both full and a little quieter at the same time. The water is still warm, the days are still long enough, and the last stretch of summer hangs on just a little longer before September starts to change the light.

It’s a good week for one more slow morning, one more evening on the porch, or one more easy meal with whoever happens to be in town. Summer isn’t quite finished — but you can feel the season beginning to turn the page.
