This Week Along the Forgotten Coast

The heat is still holding strong, but the days are starting to feel a little different. The light softens earlier in the evening, the afternoons carry that familiar heavy stillness before a possible storm, and the coast seems to settle into a quieter rhythm as August moves along.

It’s a good week for the simple things — an early morning walk before the day warms up, a slower lunch under a fan, or just watching the water change color as the sun drops. Summer isn’t done yet, but you can feel it beginning to shift.

Enjoy the beauty around us and have a blessed week...
