You could feel it the moment you walked into Riverfront Park last Saturday — the 27th Annual Apalachicola Boat & Car Show had that special energy that only happens when spring finally settles in on the Forgotten Coast.
On April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the waterfront came alive with classic cars, polished boats, golf carts, and motorcycles lined up side by side under a bright blue sky. Admission was free, and the $20 vehicle entry fee brought out everything from gleaming antique boats to restored hot rods and everything in between. Families wandered, neighbors caught up, and the whole scene felt like the best kind of small-town celebration — unhurried, friendly, and full of that unmistakable Apalachicola charm.
What made this year’s show feel extra special was how perfectly it captured the season. After a slower winter, the riverfront was buzzing again with people making plans, taking photos, and simply enjoying being outside together. It’s the kind of day that reminds you why this stretch of coast still feels like old Florida — no big crowds, no pressure, just good people and beautiful machines right next to the water.
If you missed it, you’ll definitely want to mark your calendar for next April. This is one of those annual events that keeps getting better every year.
