The Franklin County Humane Society has started hosting “Sunday Funday” adoption events where families can come meet the dogs and cats looking for homes in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. They are looking for volunteers.  It will hopefully become a part of our Sunday routines — a chance for the community to connect with the animals and the dedicated team that cares for them week after week.

 

In a place that already moves at its own gentle pace, these small acts of kindness add up. Every adoption, every volunteer hour, and every visitor who stops by helps give these animals a second chance right here on the Forgotten Coast.

 

If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your life, or just want to support the shelter, the Franklin County Humane Society is always worth a visit.
